    I believe people want to interact with other people - the people behind the brand or behind the company logo. Nicholas makes a very valid point: being real sometimes involves the mundane. I enjoy hearing about what some folks are doing in their "regular" lives as well as their "professional" lives. It makes them real and more interesting.

    Of course, if I were tweeting on the official corporate tweet account, I would keep it more professional but still converse in such a way that it can be known there's a "real person" there and not just some "ethereal corporate entity."
